The project has been many months in the planning and features donated digital designs from nine team members to start, with many more members expected to join in later in the year.
Team Captain Shawnna Rennae Porter of Etsy shop Lovelytocu spear-headed the endeavor "as a way for our members to give something back to the community and collaborate with each other on charitable projects."
Profits from the Giving By Design shop will go towards Kiva micro-loans with plans in the future if the shop proves successful for members to donate to their favorite local charities as well.
